Organize thoughts with Obsidian

Obsidian is a note-taking and knowledge management application that has become popular with researchers, writers, and students because of its ability to organize and make connections between notes and ideas.

Most demos for Obsidian left me wondering why anyone would need it instead of other note applications, or even Notion. It looked like Samsung Notes with a fancier dashboard.

That changed when I watched this video from Giles McMullen. Now I believe that if I were to start writing a book again (which I've attempted before), plotting ideas in Obsidian would be much more effective than my current system of documents.
