Meta AI is kinda amazing

In How to Use Meta AI for Beginners in 2024, Bridget O’Rourke explains what sets the Meta AI large language model (LLM) apart. Spoiler alert—it’s trained on 10x more data and tokens than other models. She demonstrates several practical ways it can assist you, and shares helpful prompting tips.

Here are a few insights from my initial testing on meta.ai:

• The results are at least as intelligent as those from ChatGPT or Claude but read less “AI-like.”

• Images generated by Meta AI appear more photo-realistic than those from most AI tools, and render faster.

• It successfully removed a background from an image that Canva AI and ChatGPT couldn’t.

• However, it was still hit-or-miss when it came to image compositions.

P.S. Today’s video was produced by Shopify, an ecommerce platform, but Bridget only briefly touches on ecommerce use cases. It’s a solid general 101 introduction to Meta AI.
