Make Baba Ganoush

I tried this basic, authentic recipe for Baba Ganoush this week. If you’ve never made it, homemade is not the same thing as the pasty stuff on grocery shelves. It’s a nice change from guac and can be used as most hearty dips—on crackers, veggies, and even toast. You don’t need the pomegranate seeds, you can garnish with chopped herbs. This recipe needed a lot of salt added.
