Keep a ZZ plant

I agree with Kevin from Epic Gardening when he says Zamioculcas plants are virtually unkillable. My ZZ plant has survived being kept 15 feet away from a window, going without water for a month, and enduring the drive from Washington state to Denver—a journey that unalived my other plants.

I also appreciate their sturdiness combined with slow growth. This makes them ideal if you want to avoid ugly overgrowth and the need for repotting. ZZ plants are the perfect low-maintenance houseplant for anyone who loves greenery but struggles to keep it alive.
