Why I Put White Wine In Basically Everything - Adam Ragusea

Food vlogger Adam Ragusea will often add a splash of white wine to his dishes, and I do too. I usually pick up a $5–6 bottle of white wine at Trader Joe’s and use it in recipes for about six weeks. It’s more versatile than red wine. I started doing this after reading an interview with a chef from my favorite Italian restaurant in Portland, Maine, who mentioned he uses white wine in his red sauce.
